Join our team at Millennium Health LLC, a certified specialty laboratory focused on medication monitoring and drug testing services. We are in search of a Specimen Collection Specialist to contribute significantly to our organization by delivering outstanding care and customer service.

As a Specimen Collection Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering patient urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimens
  • Preparing and packaging collections for transportation
  • Serving as a communication link between the practice/clinic and the laboratory
  • Maintaining accurate patient and physician order information
  • Addressing specimen-related concerns promptly
  • Overseeing the inventory of collection materials
  • Monitoring specimen collections for Millennium Health
  • Traveling between facilities, with occasional overnight coverage as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in specimen collection or 1+ years in the healthcare sector
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience may be considered
  • Competent in smartphone and computer usage
  • Phlebotomy experience is advantageous
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory
  • Understanding of medical insurance/billing is a plus
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Physical demands: sitting 90%, walking 5%, standing 5%, lifting up to 20 lbs
