Archivist - Heritage Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Archivist to join our team at Heritage Werks, Inc. As an Archivist, you will be responsible for processing and cataloging large collections of heritage materials, including documents, photographs, and other artifacts. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to develop innovative solutions for accessing and using heritage collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and organize large collections of heritage materials
- Conduct research and create descriptive cataloging for collections
- Develop and implement preservation strategies for heritage materials
- Write finding aids and create inventories for collections
- Select assets for digitization and work with team to implement digitization projects
Requirements:
- 3+ years of processing experience
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Ability to travel, when needed
- MA in History (with archival experience), MLIS with Cataloging and/or Archives Specialization or MHP (Master of Heritage Preservation)
- Ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Curiosity and attention to detail

- Self-motivated, performance-driven professional
- Commitment to working independently, cross-functionally and in teams
- Proficient in using technology including social media and Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
