Job Description:

The Cytology Specialist at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. is responsible for the processing and examination of cytology specimens. This role requires a strong foundation in science and laboratory techniques, with a focus on cytotechnology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and examine cytology specimens to identify abnormal cell patterns
• Conduct adequacy determinations for non-Gyn specimens and non-GYN screening
• Collaborate with medical professionals to provide accurate diagnostic results

Requirements:

• Baccalaureate Degree in a science or lab related field
• Completion of a one year Cytotechnology program
• ASCP Certification as Cyto-Technologist
• Skilled in Thin Prep Paps and non-Gyn screening

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a normal work schedule, Monday-Friday, with no call or holiday coverage required. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in cytotechnology and be proficient in Meditech EMR system.
