The University of Cincinnati Foundation seeks a highly motivated and experienced Program Director, Alumni Engagement to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that strategically engage and provide tangible benefits to College of Allied Health Sciences and James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy alumni.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as primary liaison between the University of Cincinnati Alumni Association, the College of Allied Health Sciences, and James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy to ensure mutual understanding and support of priorities.
- Work with alumni association and college leadership to develop and execute on annual and long-term strategic goals to provide inclusive and diverse engagement opportunities that connect college-based alumni to fellow alumni, students, the college, and association.
- Form strong working relationships with internal and external partners related to both the College of Allied Health Sciences and James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy, including the college's professional staff and faculty.
- Execute on annual signature experiences from ideation through implementation, including Homecoming and Alumni Weekend events, and other potential activities.
- Develop and track relationships with college-based alumni locally and nationally to promote participation and leadership in the college's alumni activities and donor opportunities.
- Identify outstanding alumni worthy of college- and university-wide recognition through various awards programs.
- Manage the Pharmacy Alumni Council and Social Work Alumni Board and communicate with volunteer leaders regularly regarding alumni association, college, and university initiatives and events.
- Collaborate with Academic Health Center's Assistant Vice President of Development to serve as the alumni relations liaison to the CAHS Dean's Leadership Council.
- Draft and manage content for relevant college-based alumni communications, including electronic communications, web content, print brochures, invitations, and letters.
- Inform querying processes for targeted communications to college and academic program specific alumni constituencies and ensure data integrity for the central database and other key data sources.
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of volunteer management, alumni engagement, event planning, external relations, or closely related experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with demonstrated service orientation and diplomacy.
- Ability to multi-task, be highly organized and detail-oriented, and possess effective organizational and time management skills.
- Independent worker with adept problem-solving and project management skills, a strategic and critical thinker, and an enthusiastic and energetic attitude.
The University of Cincinnati Foundation offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 annually, as well as a total rewards package inclusive of performance-based bonus, competitive health and wellness benefits, tuition remission, retirement with employer match, paid parental leave, and paid vacation, sick time, and holidays.
