Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati, Hoxworth Blood Center, is seeking a highly skilled Donor Communication Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Donor Recruitment Division, you will play a critical role in donor recruitment and coordination, ensuring seamless communication with donors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective donor communication strategies to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Recruit and schedule donors for various blood donation types, including platelets, plasma, and white cell donations.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
  • Initiate and maintain correspondence with donors, ensuring timely and personalized communication.
  • Assist with special projects and assignments, providing support to the team as needed.
  • Update donor records and manage inbound and outbound contacts, including phone, email, and postal correspondence.
  • Reschedule donors for future blood donations, ensuring optimal scheduling and donor satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Communications, Marketing, or Public Health.
  • Four years of relevant work experience and/or specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Work Environment

This is an office-based position with no unusual physical or environmental demands.
