Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our Neurotrauma team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the management and care of patients with neurotrauma conditions, working collaboratively with neurosurgeons, medical staff, and multidisciplinary teams across multiple care settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with neurotrauma conditions, including evaluation, treatment, and management of their care.
  • Work collaboratively with neurosurgeons, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients, including history and physical examinations, diagnostic testing, and laboratory results.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed, in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in neurotrauma care.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in neurotrauma care.
  • Active Ohio APRN or PA license with prescriptive authority.
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty.
