Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Pathologist to join our team. As a leading institution in medical education and research, we offer a unique opportunity for a pathologist to contribute to our academic and clinical programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in surgical pathology case review and interpretation, with preparation of diagnostic pathology reports.
  • Provide consultations to other physicians regarding diagnoses and medical implications.
  • Participate in on-call coverage and multidisciplinary conferences aligned with clinical service responsibilities.
  • Teach pathology residents, medical students, and fellows.
  • Attend sectional/divisional/departmental meetings and educational events.
Requirements
  • Medical degree (M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or D.O. degree).
  • Completion of a three-year (anatomic pathology) or four-year (anatomic and clinical pathology) residency program.
  • Board-certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology.
  • Licensure by the State of Ohio Medical Board.
