Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an integral member of the treatment team, ensuring an outstanding patient experience.
  • Employ a holistic and functional methodology to assist patients in overcoming limitations associated with musculoskeletal issues.
  • Integrate manual therapy techniques with exercise regimens to enhance patient mobility and well-being.
  • Adopt a comprehensive approach to identify the root causes of a patient's injury, discomfort, or dysfunction.
  • Collaborate with the Therapist to ensure precise understanding of a patient's care plan and rehabilitation instructions.
  • Adhere to insurance authorization protocols as outlined by the Therapist.
  • Document patient status and progress, including measurements, clinical observations, and additional information provided by the patient.
  • Tailor individual treatment objectives and activities based on the Therapist's assessment of patient data and demographics.
  • Administer treatments aimed at improving and sustaining medically necessary interventions while evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with the Therapist and guide the physical therapy technician in delivering patient care.
  • Maintain patient records in compliance with State and Federal regulations, HIPAA standards, and company policies.
  • Proactively stay informed about professional documentation and reimbursement guidelines.

  • Current licensure as a PTA or a graduate from a CAPTA accredited physical therapy program.
