Position Overview

Join the team at Banner Physical Therapy as an Outpatient Rehabilitation Specialist focusing on Orthopedic and Oncology cases.

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic licensed Physical Therapist to deliver outstanding patient care in a full-time capacity. Our facility is a large, multi-disciplinary clinic that primarily handles neuro and orthopedic cases, with opportunities for cancer rehabilitation. We offer mentoring and educational support for new graduates.

For those interested in oncology rehabilitation, you will have the chance to work with our esteemed ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program team, which provides essential rehabilitative services aimed at enhancing the quality of life for individuals impacted by cancer. Our ReVital team offers comprehensive training and education for therapists committed to serving our diverse patient population. The primary caseload will be orthopedic, with the opportunity to collaborate with the ReVital program director to expand our oncology services. Compensation: Starting at $74,000 per year, with increases based on experience.

A significant number of individuals affected by cancer do not receive treatment for functional impairments; ReVital aims to fill this gap in care, helping patients regain strength, function, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and comply with state practice acts and regulations governing physical therapy practice.
  • Complete all required corporate and clinical training, ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
  • Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients requiring physical therapy, documenting medical necessity clearly.
  • Maintain respectful and open communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors.
  • Participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completion of educational requirements for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in the practice state.
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Able to work 40 hours per week, including occasional early or late shifts to accommodate patient needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest or experience in cancer rehabilitation.
