Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an integral member of the treatment team, ensuring an outstanding patient experience.
  • Employ a holistic and functional approach to assist patients in overcoming limitations associated with musculoskeletal issues.
  • Integrate manual therapy techniques with exercise strategies to enhance patient mobility and well-being.
  • Adopt a comprehensive perspective to identify the root causes of injuries, pain, or dysfunction.
  • Collaborate with the Therapist to ensure precise understanding of the patient's care plan and rehabilitation instructions.
  • Adhere to insurance authorization protocols as outlined by the Therapist.
  • Document patient status and progress, including performing assessments and gathering relevant information from patients.
  • Tailor treatment goals and activities based on the Therapist's evaluation of patient data and demographics.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions to enhance and sustain medically necessary care while evaluating its effectiveness.
  • Communicate effectively with the Therapist and guide the physical therapy technician in patient care tasks.
  • Maintain patient records in compliance with state and federal regulations, HIPAA standards, and company policies.
  • Stay informed about professional documentation and reimbursement guidelines.
