Job Summary

The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for creating a work environment that promotes fairness, employee engagement, and legal compliance across the Firm. This role ensures the resolution of employee relations issues, such as conflicts, disputes, and disciplinary matters with fairness and consistency in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement employee relations programs and practices that foster a work culture of trust and open communication.
  • Work with the General Counsel's Office and Professional Responsibility Committee to establish, update and maintain company policies related to employee relations.
  • Mediate, manage and resolve employee conflicts, disputes, disciplinary matters and complaints objectively, ensuring fairness and consistency in a timely manner.
  • Provide input and assist in the performance management process, ensuring consistency and fairness.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, as well as firm policies and procedures.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale and motivation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations and HR practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters professionally.
Working Conditions

This is an office-based role, with occasional travel to firm locations as required.
