Job Summary

C.H. Robinson is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Associate Sales Executive to join our Global Forwarding division. In this role, you will be responsible for executing outside sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual expectations set by the Regional Sales Manager (RSM).

As an Associate Sales Executive, you will actively engage with and respond to incoming leads within the designated sales region, under RSM leadership. You will also drive, organize, and create metrics for outbound leads for the sales region through various prospecting tools.

Key responsibilities include interpreting market conditions and delivering a persuasive case for change, working with the pricing team to identify the right pricing strategy, and effectively communicating with customers and prospects.

Responsibilities
  • Execute outside sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual expectations set by the RSM
  • Actively engage with and respond to incoming leads within the designated sales region, under RSM leadership
  • Drive, organize, and create metrics for outbound leads for the sales region through various prospecting tools
  • Interpret market conditions and deliver a persuasive case for change
  • Work with the pricing team to identify the right pricing strategy
  • Effectively communicate with customers and prospects
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (domestically)
  • Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of Global Forwarding operations experience and/or sales experience, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and demonstrated negotiation and sales strategies experience
