Job Description

The Technical Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in the growth and success of Global Guardian, a leading provider of electronic security services. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced professional who can plan, execute, and deliver complex projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute installation and service projects in accordance with Global Guardian's policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and support subcontractors and trade partners to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, provide training as needed, and manage client expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Install and service various video, access control, locking hardware, intrusion, intercom, and other low-voltage systems to meet contract and project scope requirements.
  • Configure, test, and commission network and communications equipment to ensure seamless connectivity and monitoring.
  • Maintain advanced programming knowledge in IP video surveillance systems, access control systems, and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with voice, telecommunications, and network personnel to support SOC hardware, services, and vendors.
  • Manage and support special projects as needed and complete other tasks assigned by management.
  • Provide on-call support and respond to client issues remotely or physically as necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in the electronic security field as a technician.
  • A high school diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience traveling to sites and maintaining reliable transportation methods.
  • Knowledge of firewalls and networking equipment (routers and switches).
  • Proven ability to organize and manage job projects to completion.
