Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business with a focus on Accounting.
2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting roles.
Experience in public accounting or advisory services is highly desirable.
Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Understanding of statutory accounting practices.
Strong analytical capabilities and accounting expertise.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc.
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.

Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team, and willing to tackle challenging tasks.


Supervisory Responsibilities:
None

Work Environment:
Exposure to computer screens.
Typical noise levels in the workplace are moderate.
Hybrid work schedule required, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
Primary job functions are conducted in a climate-controlled office setting.

Essential Job Responsibilities:


The Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting is tasked with implementing accepted accounting principles and practices to evaluate financial data and produce accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.

Reviews intricate financial reports and records to ensure accuracy.
Generates financial statements and aids in budget preparation according to established timelines.
Creates financial reporting checklists to guarantee adherence to U.S. GAAP and reporting standards.
Conducts variance analyses and reconciles accounts.
Evaluates and suggests improvements to accounting systems and procedures.
Engages in the establishment of financial standards.
Responds to requests from external auditors.
Facilitates month-end and year-end closing activities.
Develops and documents business processes and accounting policies to enhance and maintain controls.
Operates with minimal guidance and takes responsibility for work output. The individual will collaborate closely with team members and management.
