Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business with a focus on Accounting
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting
- Experience in public accounting or advisory roles is highly desirable
- In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Familiarity with statutory accounting principles
- Strong analytical capabilities and accounting expertise
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and similar tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Work Environment:
- Exposure to computer screens
- Moderate noise levels
- Hybrid work schedule requiring at least 3 days in the office
- Duties performed in a climate-controlled office

Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting will be tasked with applying accepted accounting principles to analyze financial data and prepare precise financial statements in compliance with US GAAP. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing intricate financial reports to ensure accuracy
- Preparing financial statements and assisting in budget preparation
- Creating financial reporting checklists for compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Conducting variance analyses and account reconciliations
- Reviewing and suggesting improvements to accounting systems
- Participating in the establishment of financial standards
- Responding to external audit inquiries
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities
- Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to enhance controls
- Collaborating closely with team members and management
- Performing additional duties as assigned
