Senior Vice President of Sales Role

We are in search of a talented and driven Senior Vice President of Sales to become part of our leadership team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and manage a high-performing sales team, formulate strategic sales initiatives, and work closely with executive management. We require a visionary leader who can propel sales growth, oversee a team, and develop comprehensive strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, mentor, and cultivate a sales team to meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations to major clients in collaboration with sales representatives.
  • Engage with key clients, support relationship management, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements.
  • Facilitate communication between the sales department and other relevant units.
  • Analyze and manage departmental expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid Life & Health license, Series 7 and Series 66.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in sales, ideally within the finance or insurance sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of customer and market dynamics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An MBA or equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience with MassMutual or a comparable firm is a plus.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills and a successful history of acquiring new business.
  • Strong awareness of market trends and potential business risks.
  • Familiarity with technological advancements in the financial services industry.
