Job Title: Advanced Sales Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Sales Director to join our team at Securian Financial Group. As a key member of our Individual Solutions market segment, you will be responsible for leading a team of advanced sales professionals and supporting our regional sales directors in the sale of individual life insurance and annuities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the company's advanced planning strategy
  • Represent Securian Financial at industry events and in publishing industry-relevant articles
  • Consult with internal teams, including risk, underwriting, legal, and actuarial professionals
  • Lead and coach a team of credentialed senior consultants
  • Oversee the design and implementation of Securian Financial's vision for advanced sales support
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must hold either a J.D. or CPA designation
  • FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Deep knowledge of advanced sales concepts and planning strategies
  • Strong partnership mindset and ability to develop effective relationships
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate complex strategies and financial concepts
