Business Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Business Manager to join our team at the University of Missouri-Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director and coordinating various business operations within the department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide executive-level administrative support to the Executive Director, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and document preparation.
- Coordinate business operations, including inventory management, communications, and coordination of activities and events.
- Manage the Plan Administration Support Staff of four staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Coordinate seven University Physicians committees, providing administrative support for meetings, agenda preparation, and documentation.
- Manage the daily operations of the department, including setting up internal meetings and events, distributing mail, and maintaining office space.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in business operations and administrative support.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business productivity tools.
