About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Leader to join our team at Summit Business Group. As a Sales Leader, you will be responsible for leading by example and fast-tracking into a position where you will train and mentor others.

With a proven sales process in place, you will absorb and implement our sales strategy, ensuring seamless execution in the field. Within the first 90 days, you will transition into a hybrid sales/training role, guiding and empowering new team members to excel while building and maintaining your own book of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Autonomously manage your schedule, aligning your hours with the business needs of your clients.
  • Cultivate enduring relationships with business owners and key stakeholders, assessing their needs, and presenting customized insurance solutions.
  • Utilize our cutting-edge Salesforce CRM to engage potential clients through a combination of cold calls and face-to-face interactions.
  • Develop and maintain a robust book of business through proactive relationship development.
  • Collaborate with your sales team manager to establish and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and quotas.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of sales experience, preferably in customer-facing or outside sales roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive training cycles, both in-person and online.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A genuine passion for assisting and empowering clients, with a sincere commitment to their well-being.
  • Health & Life general lines license, or the willingness to obtain it within 90 days (with support from Summit).
