Business Development Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our team in Columbia, MD. As a key member of our Health & Sciences or Commercial IT staffing team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with potential clients and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships
- Utilize CRM and sales tools to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure seamless delivery of staffing services
- Represent the company as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive business growth and improvement
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the staffing industry
- Proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM and sales tools, such as Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary range: $60,000-$70,000/year
- Uncapped commission structure with tiered plan and maximum payout tier of 20%
- Auto allowance: $375/month ($6,000/year)
- Cell allowance: $100/month ($1,200/year)
