Job Description

Job Title: Retail Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Hard Rock International. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for directing retail operations, ensuring maximum business potential, and driving financial results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People: Provide a positive employee life cycle for all staff members, ensuring their growth and development throughout their tenure with Hard Rock.
  • Guest Experience: Deliver an authentic and exceptional guest experience by maintaining a visually appealing retail environment, ensuring proper inventory management, and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Profit: Operate a financially profitable retail business, making informed decisions to drive revenue growth and minimize costs.
  • Sales: Develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and increase sales.
  • Operations: Coordinate retail operations with other departments within the hotel, ensuring seamless execution and excellent guest experience.
  • Employee Development: Teach, coach, and document employees to maintain a high-quality workforce, ensuring they meet and exceed performance standards.
  • Professional Image: Present a professional image to employees, guests, clients, owners, and investors, upholding the Hard Rock brand reputation.
  • Client Relations: Attend client functions and designated parties to provide support, ensure guest satisfaction, and promote future business opportunities.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, participate in local events, and develop strategies to increase sales and profits.
  • Community Relations: Foster positive relationships within the business and social community, promoting the Hard Rock brand and values.
  • Philanthropy: Spearhead philanthropic initiatives, contributing to the company's social responsibility and community engagement.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with all employees to achieve exceptional guest experiences and exceed business objectives.
  • Staff Retention: Maintain a low staff turnover rate and high employee morale, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility: Operate ethically, protecting the Hard Rock brand image and upholding the company's values.
  • Sustainability: Utilize programs designed to promote sustainability and reduce the company's environmental impact.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record of managerial success in a fast-paced environment, with experience in driving business growth and developing human capital.
  • Education: Applicable standard of education required.
  • Skills: Strong leadership behaviors, technical skills, and the ability to make high-quality decisions and complex decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Language: Fluency in English required, with multiple language abilities a plus.

Physical Demands:

  • Mobility: Ability to move throughout the corporate office and cafes during visits, standing, walking, kneeling, bending for extended periods.
  • Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
