Position Overview

As a Lead Civil Engineering Specialist, you will join a team of dedicated professionals committed to enhancing community interactions with water systems. Your Role

In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our mission by leveraging your expertise in civil engineering within a collaborative and inclusive environment. Your experience will be invaluable as we work together to support our clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the senior project engineer, conducting thorough evaluations and alternative analyses to inform project decisions and address complex challenges.
  • Lead initiatives and engage in strategic pursuits for significant opportunities, fostering relationships and developing winning strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong connections with clients and strategic partners to enhance business prospects.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and assess local market opportunities, contributing to regional business strategies.
  • Assist Project Managers with technical proposals and address project-related issues with stakeholders.
  • Oversee and guide the civil engineering components throughout all project phases, serving as a technical expert for team members.
  • Assume responsibility as the engineer of record for your work and that of junior engineers and technologists.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Credentials:
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, specializing in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
