Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Survey Crew Chief to lead our field survey operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting boundary surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys, topographic surveys, photo control surveys, route surveys, and construction stakeout.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of surveyors in the field, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to standard operating procedures and health and safety standards.
- Operate robotic total stations and GPS receivers to collect accurate data and information.
- Conduct courthouse research to collect right of way property information.
- Develop deed work maps, base maps, and other survey-related documents.
- Collaborate with licensed surveyors to ensure high-quality results and meet project deadlines.
- 5+ years of experience in land surveying, with a strong background in field operations.
- Skilled in the use of GPS devices, data collectors, and total stations.
- Knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate motorized equipment.
