Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Technician to join our team at Dallas County CSCD. This role will provide critical support to our community supervision officers and clients, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and perform administrative tasks, including maintaining records, tracking urine samples, and providing clerical support to the front desk.
  • Assist community supervision officers with custody processes, including warrant checks and client appointments.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments, and the general public.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 60 college hours preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly in the absence of specific instructions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to learn and apply computer programs to office functions with minimal instruction.

Working Conditions:

  • Maintains a standard office environment with occasional prolonged sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Lifts files, boxes, and other materials up to 15 pounds, unassisted.

Work Environment:

Performs work inside a standard office environment, interacting with employees, departments, and the general public.
