United Counseling Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide a wide range of mental health services to individuals and families, including assessment, counseling, and case management.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Clinical Services: Provide assessment and counseling to individuals and families with mental health and/or substance use problems, including individual, family, group, and relationship counseling.
- Consultation and Education Services: Provide mental health and/or substance use consultation to community agencies, schools, and the professional community, as required.
- Clinical Case Management and Social Support: Provide concurrent case management services on an as-needed basis, including service coordination, collateral contacts, and social support services.
- Clinical Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely records of client services, including assessments, case services, and progress notes.
- Administrative and Clinical Meetings: Attend and actively participate in meetings designed to inform, problem-solve, and coordinate services and programs.
- A minimum of a master's degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, psychiatric nursing, or a related human services field.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Vermont and rostering.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a mental health setting.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in typing, navigating Windows, email usage, and EMR systems.
