Emergency Clinician

United Counseling Services is seeking a skilled Emergency Clinician to provide clinical services to mental health and/or substance use clients. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, and two years of related work experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assessment and brief, solution-focused counseling to individuals and families with mental health and/or substance use crises.
- Coordinate services with other agencies and providers, and facilitate appropriate referrals for other services when necessary.
- Provide mental health and/or substance use consultation to the community, area agencies, and the professional community.
- Initiate and maintain in a timely and thorough manner the wide variety of record keeping and administrative documentation required to account for our services to clients.
A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, and two years of related work experience is preferred. Professional clinical license in field of specialty is required. Qualified Mental Health Professional Certification must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
Valid Driver's License and Professional clinical license in field of specialty are required.
Computer Skills:Typing and navigating Email usage Microsoft Software.
