Job Summary

Vermont Employer seeks a skilled IOP Clinician to provide direct services to children and families in a trauma-informed, systems-based approach. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant human service field and experience providing counseling services to families and children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and counseling to children, families, and/or groups with behavioral, emotional mental health, and/or substance use needs.
  • Facilitate referrals and communication between agencies for other services on behalf of the child.
  • Attend team meetings to plan and monitor services.
  • Provide consultation services to teachers, school personnel, and community partners as needed.
  • Responsible for all required written documentation, adhering to all UCS recordkeeping requirements.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in a relevant human service field.
  • Licensure or on track for licensure in Vermont as a Social Worker, Psychologist, or Mental Health Professional.
  • Knowledgeable in the use of, or willing to be trained in, clinical practices informed by evidence-based models.
  • Valid Drivers License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience providing counseling services to families and children.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and systems-based approaches.
