IOP Clinician

The United Counseling Services (UCS) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate IOP Clinician to join our team. As an IOP Clinician, you will provide direct services to children and families, utilizing a trauma-informed, systems-based, coordinated, cross-sector, and family-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assessment and counseling to children, families, and/or groups with behavioral, emotional mental health, and/or substance use needs.
- Facilitate referrals and communication between agencies for other services on behalf of the child.
- Attend team meetings to plan and monitor services.
- Provide information and referrals and be able to connect individuals to the appropriate resources, including individuals with co-occurring mental health and SUD services.
- Master's degree in a relevant human service field with some experience providing counseling services to families and children.
- Licensure or on track for licensure in Vermont as a Social Worker, Psychologist, or Mental Health Professional required.
- Knowledgeable in the use of, or willing to be trained in, clinical practices informed by evidence-based models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for ages 8-13, Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Zero Suicide.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Typing and navigating Microsoft Windows literacy, Email usage.
