Position Summary

We are currently looking for a Peer Recovery Support Specialist to enhance our team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducational workshops, and process groups tailored to address individual client needs.
  • Support clients in cultivating effective coping strategies, positive habits, and essential recovery tools.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical staff to monitor client progress and address challenges.
  • Report any critical client issues to the Clinical Director promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of all group sessions conducted.
  • Ensure completion of all clinical assessments and individual client documentation.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) or Certified Interventionist Trainer (CIT) or higher.
  • At least one year of experience in the treatment field is preferred.
  • Valid state licensure required for clinical practice.
  • If in recovery, a minimum of one year of sustained sobriety is mandatory.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
  • Strong presence with sound judgment.
  • Character that embodies warmth, integrity, and inspires trust while modeling recovery principles.
