About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our Institutional Sales team within the Financial Markets Americas division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals to drive growth and client relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand our customer footprint and product offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize origination and market making processes.
  • Provide proactive coverage of institutional clients, identifying commercial opportunities and delivering value-added content.
  • Coordinate internal pre-trade preparation and negotiate deal documentation.
  • Attend client and industry events to position ING as a strong partner.
Requirements
  • At least 12+ years of experience in institutional sales, fixed income, or a related field.
  • Securities licenses, including Series 7, 63, and 24.
  • Experience in managing and building a team, as well as managing client relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex matters in simple terms.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on negotiation and deal execution.
