Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the loading and unloading of rail cars in compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
  • Provide hands-on leadership with operational and technical expertise to ensure adherence to best practices in a professional and clean environment.
  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost management.
  • Foster a safety-first culture where every team member values safe practices and conditions.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Commit to educating and promoting personal accountability for safe behaviors and environmental stewardship.
  • Exhibit proactive leadership skills in problem-solving, decision-making, organizing, and coaching team members.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in railcar operations preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Dynamic personality with a focus on safety leadership.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and navigate uneven surfaces for extended periods.
  • Proficient in using basic hand tools.
