About the Role

Riverside Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of inbound customer shipments, and coaching lower-level associates to success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods in a fast-paced distribution environment
  • Coordinate with supervisors and fellow leaders to ensure seamless operations
  • Coach and develop lower-level associates to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Operate various material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including rack areas
  • Foster effective communication with vendors and colleagues
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education required
  • One to three years of warehouse experience, including receiving, order fulfillment, and basic inventory control
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions accurately in English
  • Ability to work in an unregulated temperature environment and lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
