Position Title: Staff Accountant

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 6 months of accounting experience or relevant internship

Position Overview:

This role presents a remarkable opportunity for an entry-level Staff Accountant to gain extensive experience within the leasing sector. Key responsibilities encompass maintaining financial documentation and reports, executing account reconciliations, and contributing to the enhancement of processes and procedures within the Finance Department. To excel in this position, the Staff Accountant should effectively assist the Finance team in upholding the general ledger and ensuring adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
  • Prepare journal entries and support the monthly closing process
  • Conduct and analyze monthly bank reconciliations and other assigned reconciliations
  • Keep and update documentation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks
  • Assist in the analysis of monthly variances
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP
  • Demonstrate strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivots, VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, and macros
