ROLE SUMMARY

The Cost Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the financial integrity of the Renewal by Andersen business, which is characterized by its complexity and growth. The primary focus will be on ensuring the precision of financial reporting. This will be achieved through a thorough understanding of the business operations, proficient cost accounting capabilities, and collaboration with various stakeholders. Attention to detail and a comprehensive understanding of financial processes are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities will include analyzing, interpreting, and applying financial concepts and techniques for effective financial planning and control, which encompass the following duties:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory assessments at the manufacturing facility.
  • Reconcile all inventory shipments to retailers.
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory on hand and intercompany transactions.
  • Support the annual cost roll and associated processes.
  • Aid in new manufacturing initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to business partners on transaction methodologies.
  • Offer support for Baan integration mapping and design modifications, including troubleshooting.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
  • Strong motivation for continuous improvement and learning.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in cost accounting.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Baan, OneStream, Business Objects, and PowerBI.
  • CPA or CMA certification.
