About the Role

The Senior Financial Planning Manager will lead the financial planning and analysis function for US Foods' IT division, providing strategic guidance and support to senior leaders. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing financial plans, analyzing financial data, and providing recommendations to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support business decisions
  • Provide financial guidance and support to senior leaders, including the EVP-CIDO and ITLT
  • Manage a team of financial analysts and provide coaching and development opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 2 years of management experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
  • Strong financial understanding and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholders
  • Experience with financial management systems and tools, such as Anaplan
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in setting up finance processes in a dynamic environment
  • Proven execution of large-scale and complex projects
  • Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, process mindset, problem-solving, and data acumen
Education

BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required; MBA/CPA certification preferred
