Position Overview:
As a Technical Engineering Specialist at Valiantica Inc, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering and manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be essential in a variety of technical tasks that ensure the reliability and efficiency of our operations.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a technical environment
• Proficient in working within an Engineering/Reliability testing framework

Key Skills Required:

  • Physical dexterity and strength to manage component installations
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds to a height of 6 feet
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as office applications
  • Experience with essential lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and multimeters
  • Fundamental engineering skills, including the ability to interpret schematics and layouts
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hardware setup, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Clear articulation of findings and issues

Independent Task Management:
• Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficient in managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems
  • Understanding of PCIe/NVMe technologies
  • Experience in laboratory operations and equipment calibration
  • Inventory management skills for lab supplies
  • Ability to suggest and implement process improvements

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Setup, coordination, and execution of testing protocols
  • Installation of components into test sockets and boards
  • Conducting daily checks to ensure all equipment is functioning properly
  • Diagnosing and repairing equipment faults, including liaising with external repair services
  • Overseeing equipment upgrades and installations, including testing and validation
  • Managing calibration processes and maintaining accurate records
  • Organizing parts storage and inventory management
  • Identifying opportunities for process enhancements and contributing to their development
  • Communicating with team members regarding equipment status and participating in departmental meetings
