Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Care and Health Outcomes: Provides essential support in delivering high-quality clinical services. Collaborates closely with the healthcare team and physicians to ensure that triage, telephonic assessments, home therapies, and patient visits align with established protocols. Takes a proactive role in guiding the clinical team to achieve and surpass performance targets. Aids in managing patient registries, ensuring timely documentation, compliance among staff, and a secure environment for both patients and team members.
  • Patient Satisfaction and Operations: Works in partnership with leadership to uphold a patient-focused atmosphere, assessing service quality and operational processes to improve patient satisfaction, while ensuring sufficient clinical staffing at all times.
  • Associate Engagement/Human Resources: Collaborates to promote the quality, development, and retention of staff, conducting regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and providing continuous feedback and training.
  • Growth and Future Development: Supports initiatives aimed at enhancing practice growth and maintaining patient loyalty, advocating for same-day access, effective inventory management, and optimizing team productivity.
  • Physician/Provider Engagement: Assists in sustaining an operationally effective work environment and engages in enhancing processes and workflows, addressing both operational and clinical issues, and collaborating to implement improvement strategies.
  • Miscellaneous Duties: Completes additional job-related responsibilities as assigned, stays updated on current clinical standards, participates in professional development activities, maintains licensure, and performs clinical tasks as necessary.

Licensure Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN)

Education and Experience:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Familiarity with OSHA, FMLA, ADA, DOT regulations, CDC guidelines, and Workman's Compensation Laws as applicable

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in computer use and keyboarding
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Current RN Licensure in the State of Illinois
  • Current CPR certification

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work various shifts throughout the week
  • Ability to perform under stressful conditions and in challenging situations
  • Capability to assist with lifting and transferring patients as necessary
  • Ability to respond promptly to patient needs and work efficiently
  • Work environment may involve exposure to hazardous materials
  • Ability to assist in patient evacuation during emergencies
  • Regularly interacts with potentially infectious specimens and patients
  • Recognizes and responds to the needs and behaviors of diverse patient age groups
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as required
