Key Responsibilities- Order Confirmation and Billing
- Verify and process patient orders, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to order confirmations and billing.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and other stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer concerns.
- Document Management
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Index and store scanned documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
- Reporting and Analytics
- Generate and analyze reports to identify trends and areas for improvement in patient services.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management to optimize patient services and improve operational efficiency.
- Other Duties
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management, including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks.
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 3-4 years of office experience preferred.
- Understanding of third-party payors, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance companies.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and home care experience a plus.
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong data entry and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
This is a full-time position, and the ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
