Position Overview:


The Guest Services Representative is responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests upon arrival, assisting with check-in and check-out processes, and ensuring that all inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.



Key Responsibilities:


- Greet guests and complete check-in procedures using both manual and computerized systems to ensure a seamless experience.


- Facilitate guest departures by accurately processing check-out procedures and ensuring all accounts are settled.


- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of guest accounts and hotel charges.


- Respond to inquiries regarding reservations and hotel services, utilizing effective communication skills to enhance guest satisfaction.


- Maintain awareness of in-house events and local attractions to provide guests with relevant information and recommendations.


- Operate the PBX system to manage incoming and outgoing calls, ensuring timely communication with guests.


- Uphold a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times, contributing to a positive atmosphere for both guests and staff.



Qualifications:


- High School diploma or equivalent is required.


- Previous experience in customer service is preferred but not mandatory.


- Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of cash handling procedures are essential.


- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.


- Ability to manage customer service challenges with tact and professionalism.


- Highly organized with attention to detail, capable of multitasking effectively.



Physical Requirements:


- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending and reaching.


- Must be able to operate standard office equipment and follow written and verbal instructions.


- Occasional lifting of items up to 25 lbs may be required.
