Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and oversee service training sessions in both classroom and workshop settings for all company products and additional equipment serviced by branch personnel.
  • Demonstrate the ability to safely and effectively perform all skills for which you are assessing students. Facilitate DP Quickstart training and other DP training sessions, including training the trainer programs for DP skill checkers at the regional training site.
  • Assess each participant through various evaluation methods, including written, oral, and practical assessments.
  • Maintain and organize training materials, tools, and supplies to ensure the effective and safe execution of all training courses. Provide assistance to students with inquiries and challenges.
  • Collaborate in testing and customizing training programs provided by the factory to align with the specific needs of customers, dealers, and company staff.
  • Offer constructive feedback regarding DP training programs to the Regional Service Trainer.
  • Engage with the Regional Service Trainer on new product developments, module updates, and potential operator training programs.
  • Create training materials as assigned by the Regional Service Trainer or Regional Training Manager for specific training courses.
  • Stay updated on new service training content as it becomes available.
  • May conduct operator training and train-the-trainer sessions in both classroom and specific operational environments for all company products for branch and customer personnel.
  • Maintain awareness of changes in OSHA regulations related to operator training.
  • Evaluate each student through comprehensive written, oral, and performance assessments.
  • Prepare the training area effectively.
  • Assist students with inquiries and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred background in lift truck maintenance or related fields, with strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems, and products.
  • Excellent writing, verbal communication, computer skills, and presentation abilities are essential for this role.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory. Must be a certified level one operator trainer.
  • Willingness to travel is required.
