Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will provide critical support to the K-12 Program, scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, ordering supplies, and arranging travel. This is a part-time position, working 20-29 hours per week.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will have experience in administrative support duties in a fast-paced office environment. They will be able to read, interpret, and apply established policies and procedures to purchasing, travel, and inventory processes. Strong customer service skills, computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential requirements for this role.

Responsibilities:
• Scheduling meetings and coordinating calendars
• Ordering supplies and arranging travel
• Providing administrative assistance to the Director of K-12 Programs
• Collecting data, answering phone calls, and assisting with timekeeping
• Creating presentations, interfacing with stakeholders, organizing files, and providing support for various events

Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in administrative support duties in a multifaceted fast-paced office environment
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply established policies and procedures to purchasing, travel, and inventory processes
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and other software applications
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented individual with excellent time management skills

Estimated Salary:
$25-$35/hour based on qualifications and experience.
