Contract Administration and Pricing Director Opportunity

Arlington Employment Center is seeking an experienced Contract Administration and Pricing Director to lead our Contract Administration and Pricing Support (CAPS) department. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site work in Arlington three days per week.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the Pricing Support team, executing required actions to maintain the AbilityOne Procurement List, understanding various contract types, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on pricing actions and negotiations. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in contract administration, pricing, accounting, and/or finance, as well as management and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Pricing Support team and manage workload distribution, prioritization of team activities, maintenance of logs and reports, quality assurance, and other activities associated with developing, analyzing, proposing, supporting, and negotiating prices for new and existing products and services.
  • Execute required actions to maintain the AbilityOne Procurement List IAW US AbilityOne Commission policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Understand various contract types (Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials, GSA Schedule, Blanket Purchasing Agreement, Basic Ordering Agreement, Purchase Order and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) and their applicability and functions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on pricing actions (new and existing products and services, economic and equitable price adjustments) and subsequent negotiations.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in contract administration, pricing, accounting, and/or finance.
  • Management and supervisory experience desirable.
  • An undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited college or university (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration preferred).
Salary and Benefits:

This is an exempt position with an annual salary of $94,625, paid bi-weekly. Additionally, the selected candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
