Job Summary

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Dental department, you will be responsible for supervising and developing the skills of our Dental Assistant employees.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of dental care and patient safety protocols.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience as a Dental Assistant and will be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and develop the skills of Dental Assistant employees
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with the Integrated Dental Care Team to provide quality patient care
  • Guide and coordinate the work of the Dental Assistant team towards established goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience as a Dental Assistant Supervisor
  • Completion of SCF's Dental Assistant Training Program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Employee Health and Background Check Requirements:

The successful applicant will be required to agree to comply with all job-related employee health screening and immunizations requirements prior to the first day of SCF employment.

As an additional condition of employment, the successful applicant must be able to comply with the applicable standards of SCF's Background Check Policy.
