About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at BTY DENTAL. As a key member of our dental team, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance to our dentists during procedures, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments, maintaining suction, and providing patient comfort
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available
  • Take and develop dental x-rays using digital imaging software
  • Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation, including patient charts and treatment records
  • Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and postoperative care instructions
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar using Eaglesoft or similar software
  • Take and record vital signs of patients as needed
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control protocols
  • Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software
  • Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and ability to take dental x-rays
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems for digital impressions is a plus
  • Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
