Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN House Supervisor to join our team at North Star Behavioral Health. As a RN House Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing leadership and coordination of assigned nursing personnel, ensuring the delivery of quality nursing care and a therapeutic environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leadership in Patient Care: Lead the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care services, demonstrating clinical expertise and ensuring a therapeutic environment.
* Staffing and Coordination: Ensure efficient staffing based on patient census and acuity, coordinating with the Scheduling Manager and facilitating admissions and discharges for optimal throughput.
* Treatment Plan Oversight: Monitor patient progress, making recommendations in line with treatment plans, and addresses medical/nursing needs to enhance patient care.
* Clinical Supervision and Training: Provide clinical supervision, guides mental health specialists and nurses in patient care responsibilities, and offers constructive feedback to reinforce desired behaviors.
* Emergency Management and Liaison: Acts as a leader in emergency situations, expedites concerns to senior administrators, and serves as a liaison with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.

Qualifications:

* Current State of Alaska RN license
* Current CPR or BLS certification, preferred
* Previous Supervisory experience, preferred
