Dental Assistant I/II

Job Summary:
The Dental Assistant I/II provides chairside assistance and support to dental teams in all aspects of preventive, restorative, prosthodontic, surgical, endodontic, interceptive orthodontic, and periodontal treatment. This role requires a high level of skill and knowledge in assisting integrated dental care teams and specialty dentists.
Responsibilities:
- Assist providers and dental teams in chairside assistance and related duties
- Perform high-level clinical support duties
- Travel to rural field clinics to perform duties as required
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Completion of SCF's Dental Assistant Training Program or a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) approved dental assisting program
- Two years of experience performing Dental Assistant duties or demonstrated proficiency as a Dental Assistant
Preferred Qualifications:
- Native preference in hiring, contracting, and training
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO, and PALS certifications as required for specialty and scope of practice
