APA Los Angeles is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Planner and Deputy Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing transportation projects and providing environmental analysis and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage transportation projects from planning to implementation, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Conduct environmental analyses and assessments for transportation projects, including CEQA and NEPA compliance.
- Develop and manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring effective resource allocation and project coordination.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop strategies for successful project approval and implementation.
- Provide exceptional client service, ensuring high-quality deliverables and effective communication.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in a related discipline, such as environmental science, planning, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in environmental consulting and/or agency experience, with a focus on transportation projects.
- Exceptional writing and analytical skills, with the ability to develop high-quality reports and presentations.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of CEQA and NEPA regulations, as well as federal and state transportation agency project development processes.
