Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the operation control panel to ensure all systems function correctly and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular calibration of pH meters and maintenance of probes.
  • Oversee tank levels and maintain communication with the metal finishing department.
  • Diligently document operations and maintain logs at regular intervals.
  • Perform physical checks of the neutralization reactor and clarifier to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage waste treatment processes, including the operation of the oil skimmer and proper handling of waste materials.
  • Uphold general housekeeping standards and adhere to scheduled preventative maintenance routines.
  • Conduct titrations of process chemistry and coating weight analysis, with the ability to prepare black oxide batches.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer proficiency is preferred.
  • At least one year of relevant experience is desirable, with a Class K license or the commitment to obtain it within one year of joining.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is an asset.
  • Availability to work weekends is a must.
