Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary care to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Conduct thorough physical exams, diagnose and treat various medical conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices in Family Medicine.
- Active Illinois medical license.
- Illinois Controlled Substances Registration (CSR).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- DEA certification.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine.
This opportunity is located in an outpatient clinic setting, with a moderate patient volume of 15-18 patients per day. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
EMR SystemThe clinic uses Athena Health as their electronic medical record (EMR) system.
