As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for managing front desk responsibilities, including greeting patients, checking them in, registering walk-in patients, answering phones, and collecting patient responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients, checking them in, and registering walk-in patients.
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collect patient responsibility and review demographic and insurance information.
- Inform patients of the organization's expectation of payment at the time of service.
Requirements:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
Work Environment:
This part-time position is located in a busy emergency department and requires the ability to work a varied schedule, including every other weekend and holiday rotation.
